Ilulungsad ngayong, Miyerkules, Agosto 1 ng Department of Agriculture ang Rice-for-All Program kasunod ng pagpapatupad ng P29/k rice campaign noong nakaraang buwan.
“President Marcos wants to ensure that every Filipino has access to affordable food during these trying times. In line with this, we will continue to expand the KADIWA network and make available more basic goods to the general public,” sinabi ni Agriculture Secretary Tiu Laurel.
Ang bigas ay mabibili sa halagang P45 kada kilo at ang bawa’t customer ay makakabili hanggang sa 25 kilos ng bigas bawa’t araw. Ang presyo ng bigas ay maaaring magbago depende sa kilos ng presyo ng bigas nguni’t sinisigurado ng Department na mas mababa ito keysa sa retail prices.
“In addition to the existing P29 Rice, the Rice-for-All Program will be offered initially in four Kadiwa outlets: FTI in Taguig City, the Bureau of Plant Industry in Manila, Potrero in Malabon, and in Caloocan,” sinabi ni Agriculture Assistant Secretary Arnel de Mesa.
Samantala, ayon kay de Mesa ang P29 Rice Program ay ipapatupad din sa dalawang dagdag na KADIWA outlets sa Sta Rosa sa Laguna at Antipolo sa Rizal.
Ang mga ito ay bilang dagdag sa mga sumusunod na outlets: Bureau of Animal Industry and National Irrigation Administration, Quezon City; Bureau of Plant Industry, Manila; Food Terminal Inc., Taguig City; PhilFIDA, Las Piñas; Prang Covered Gym, Marikina City; Llano, Caloocan City; Valenzuela City; PFCC in Malabon; Navotas Institute, Navotas City; Brgy. Fortune at BF City,Marikina City; San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan; Bacoor, Cavite; at San Pedro City Hall,Laguna.
