Binigyang-diin ni House Committee on Appropriations at Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Elizaldy Co na ang 2025 budget proposal ay hindi lamang isang financial plan kundi isang ‘strategic roadmap’ na nakahanay sa Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028.
“It’s crucial that we examine each allocation meticulously to ensure the most effective use of our resources. The road ahead is full of challenges, but with this proposed budget, we have a robust framework to guide our efforts,” sabi ni Rep. Zaldy.
Nakatuon ang budget proposal para sa pagpapahusay ng kapakanan ng bawat Pilipino, pagbabago ng mga sektor ng produksyon upang lumikha ng mas mataas na kalidad na mga trabaho, at pagtiyak ng sumusuporta sa kapaligiran para sa mga institusyon at natural na kapaligiran.
“We must ensure that every peso is directed towards initiatives that will uplift the lives of our fellow Filipinos, improve our infrastructure, strengthen our educational and healthcare systems, and secure our nation’s future,” pahayag ni Rep. Co.
Matatandaan nitong Lunes, Hulyo 29, pormal nang itinanggap ng Kamara ang National Expenditure Program (NEP) para sa Fiscal Year 2025 sa isang seremonyang ginanap sa House of Representatives sa Quezon City.
