Kakasuhan ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ng tax evasion ang mag-asawang kontratistang sina Sarah at Curlee Discaya dahil sa umano’y paglabag sa National Internal Revenue Code partikular sa Section 254 (Willful Attempt to Evade or Defeat Tax) at Section 255 (Willful Failure to Supply Correct and Accurate Information).

“On 14 January 2026, in two (2) separate complaints filed by BIR, the DOJ found prima facie evidence, with reasonable conviction to indict Pacifico Felizario ‘Curlee’ Discaya Jr. and Cezarah ‘Sara’ Rowena Discaya for violations of National Internal Revenue Code (NIRC),” saad ng Office of the Prosecutor General ng DOJ.

“The DOJ prosecutors found that Curlee Discaya and Sarah Discaya violated Section 254 of the NIRC by concealing and/or underdeclaring their true and correct income for taxable years 2020 and 2021, in their respective capacities as sole proprietors of St. Gerrard Construction General Contractor and Development Corporation and Fine Things Fashion Wear House,” saad ng Office of the Prosecutor General ng DOJ sa isang statement ngayong Miyerkules, Pebrero 4.
