Bilang kilalang LGBTQIA+ ally, dumalo si Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach sa LBGTQIA+ pagbubukas ng bagong center ng sinusuportahan niyang non-government agency (NGO) sa Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
“This expansion aims to make their (LoveYourselfPH) services more accessible to residents who find commuting to Cebu City challenging. JEM at Mactan Town Center offers comprehensive prevention services, including education, regular testing, and access to PrEP and PEP,” caption ni Pia sa kanyang Instagram post.
Sa kanyang Instagram account, ibinahagi ni Pia ang kaniyang mga larawan sa pagbubukas ng bagong center ng LoveYourselfPH sa Mactan Town Center. Ang bagong center ay magbibigay ng komprehensibong HIV prevention services, kaya ng edukasyon, regular na pagsusuri, at access sa pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) at post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
Ang LoveYourselfPH ay isang volunteer community na nagbibigay ng libreng HIV testing, counseling, treatment, at life coaching.
Ito ang ikalawang pagbubukas ng LoveYourselfPH center na dinaluhan ni Pia sa nakalipas na mga buwan. Noong nakaraang taon, dumalo siya sa muling pagbubukas ng LoveYourself White House sa Cebu.
