Sinabi ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ngayong Martes, Pebrero 13, na nakatanggap sila ng anim na advanced bomb removal automated vehicle (BRAVE) robot mula sa United States Anti-Terrorism Assistance (ATA).
Nagkakahalaga ng P20 milyon kada unit, ang BRAVE robots ay itinurn-over sa National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) sa isang seremonya sa Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City nitong Lunes, Pebrero 12.
Nagsagawa rin ng groundbreaking ceremony para sa Explosive Ordnance Disposal/K9 Group Headquarters.
“This moment is a celebration of the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and a steadfast commitment to public service,” sabi ni PNP chief Police General Benjamin Acorda.
“The combined efforts behind the BRAVE robots and the EOD/K9 Group Headquarters symbolize the nation’s dedication to staying at the forefront of technology and preparedness,” dagdag pa ni Acorda.
