Inaresto ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang tatlong katao na nagsasagawa ng cosmetic surgery bagamat walang professional license sa Iloilo City.
Sinabi ng ahensiya ang mga suspek, na sina Ivonne Pal, Roselyn Panes at Michelle Tamdang, ay dinampot sa isang entrapment operation sa loob ng Angel’s Pretty Aesthetic Beauty Lounge sa Molo, Iloilo City, noong Oktubre 19.
Inaresto ang mga suspek nang tanggapin ang marked money na nagkakahalaga ng P10,000 mula sa isang poseur client na magpapa-nose lift procedure.
Nahaharap sila sa kasong estafa sa ilalim ng Article 315 ng Revised Penal Code, in relation to Republic Act 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012) at paglabag sa Republic Act 2382 (Medical Act of 1959) sa Iloilo City Prosecutor’s Office ang tatlong pekeng doktor.
Ang operasyon ay nag-ugat sa mga reklamo ng mga kliyente na nagsabing sila ay “suffered acute bacterial skin and soft tissue infections” matapos mag-avail ng facial rejuvenation at contouring services mula sa clinic.
Lumabas sa imbestigasyon na hindi rehistrado ang clinic ng mga suspek sa Professional Regulation Commission at Food and Drug Administration, sabi ng NBI.
