Arestado ng pinagsanib na pwersa ng pulis at military ang isang pinaghihinalaang mataas na opisyal ng New Peoples’ Army (NPA) sa isinagawang operasyon sa Taguig City.
Kinilala ni Philippine Army 2nd Infantry Division (ID) Public Affairs Office (PAO) chief Hector Estolas ang naaresto na si Lucila Liabres, na gumagamit ng mga alyas na “Yvonne,” “Sam” at “Yang,” umano’y medical officer at political instructor ngt Platoon 2, Islacom Mindoro ng Sub Regional military area 4D ng Southern Tagalog Regional Party Committee.
Naaresto si Yvonne nitong Lunes ng mga tauhan ng mga tauhan ng 203rd Infantry “Bantay Kapayapaan” Brigade, 2nd Infantry “Jungle Fighter” Division, Philippine Army at MIMAROPA PNP sa Central Signal Village, Taguig City.
Napag-alaman na si Yvonne ay sangkot sa 4 counts of murder, multiple counts of frustrated murder at theft . Si Yvonne ay may reward na P280,000.
Sa ngayon, si Yvonne ay nakakulong sa PNP headquarters sa Camp Crame, Quezon City.
