Tutuparin ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang kanilang mandato kasunod ng direktiba ng Department of Justice (DOJ) na ipatupad ang arrest warrant ng International Criminal Court (ICC) laban kay Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.
“As a law enforcement agency, the PNP shall perform its mandate in accordance with existing laws, due process, and established operational procedures,” saad sa pahayag ng organisasyon.
“The PNP respects the processes of the justice system and recognizes the authority of competent government agencies in the implementation of lawful orders,” pahayag ng PNP.
Tiniyak din ng ahensya na mananatili silang patas, propesyonal, at susunod sa tamang proseso habang igagalang ang karapatan ng mga indibidwal na sangkot.
