Ang P6 million cash assistance ay pinamahagi ng Palawan 3rd District Caretaker Office sa ilalim ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis (AICS) program ng Department of Social Welfare and Development sa mga kuwalipikadong residente ng Aborlan sa Palawan noong Marso 11-12.
“This payout manifests my solemn commitment to help the distressed residents of Aborlan as their caretaker and in accordance with the policy of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. that no one should be left behind. This is just the beginning as we are working in earnest to honor the rest of the pledge I gave to the leaders of fisherfolks during our recent meeting,” sabi ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
“Let me also express my gratitude to DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian for the swift action on our endorsement of the request for assistance of the Aborlan residents,” giit ng lider ng Kamara.
