Ipinagmamalaki ng Pru Life UK at Prudence Foundation, sa pakikipagtulungan sa Department of Education (DepEd), ang dalawang milyong estudyante na sumailalim sa Cha-Ching financial literacy program na nagbigay sa mga batang edad 7–12 ng “critical foundation for lifelong resilience.”
Isang “major milestone” para sa Pru Life UK at Prudence Foundation, kasama ang Department of Education (DepEd) at Junior Achievement (JA) Philippines, na umabot sa dalawang milyong mag-aaral sa Pilipinas ang nabenepisyuhan ng award-winning Cha-Ching financial literacy curriculum.
Ipinagdiwang sa Senate President Neptali A. Gonzales Integrated School sa Mandaluyong City, may temang ‘Empowering 2M Lives: A Decade of Financial Literacy in the Philippines,’ ang ika-10 taon ng Cha-Ching—isang financial literacy program para sa mga edad 7-12, na nakatulong na sa 3.9 milyong estudyante sa Asia at Africa at nagsanay sa 123,500 guro.
“Financial literacy is a critical foundation for lifelong resilience,” sabi ni Nicole Ngeow, executive director ng Prudence Foundation. “Reaching two million students in the Philippines reflects the strength of our partnerships with local actors and our shared commitment to equipping the next generation with practical money skills that shape their futures and strengthen community resilience.”
“I have seen firsthand how programs like Cha-Ching can open doors, build confidence, and plant seeds of possibility in young people who simply need someone to believe in their potential,” ani DepEd Asec. Dexter Galban. “Earn, save, spend, & donate. Four simple words that carry lessons many adults wish they had learned much earlier in life.”
