Hindi nababahala si House Senior Majority Leader at Zamboanga City 2nd District Rep. Manuel Jose Dalipe sa napaulat na nakumbinsi ng liderato ng Senado ang Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na ipatigil ang People’s Initiative sa pagpupulong ni PBBM at Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri nitong Lunes, Enero 29, ng gabi.
“Kung ayaw nila dun sa People’s Initiative, they have to talk to those organizations (behind the signature campaign). But babalik kami dun sa unang finile (Resolution of Both Houses No. 6) namin last year,” sabi ni House Senior Majority Leader Manuel Jose Dalipe.
Ayon kay Dalipe, nasa Senado na ulit ang bola dahil babalikan nila ang Resolution of Both Houses No. 6 na isinumite na nila sa Mataas na Kapulungan nitong nakaraang taon subalit inupuan umano ito ng mga senador.
“Ginawa na ng House ang dapat gawin namin telling the Senate our message: Constitutional convention,” giit ni Dalipe.
“Regarding the People’s Initiative, maybe we can talk with the group because they already convinced us they are moving,” dagdag ni Dalipe.
