Hinarang ng prosecution lawyers sa impeachment trial laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte ngayong Martes, Hulyo 7 na ipalabas ang buong video kung saan makikita umano ang pagbababanta ng Bise Presidente kay Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos at former House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
“The prosecution cannot be allowed to present a small, a truncated part of a whole video. That will not provide the context necessary for the understanding of what occurred during that night on November 23,” hirit ni defense counsel Atty. Carlo Narvasa.
Bagamat ang pagpapalabas ng buong video ay aabutin ng dalawang oras, 26 na minuto at 10 segundo, sinabi pa ng prosekusyon na kailangan lamang na ipakita sa impeachment court ang kontrobersiyal na bahagi nito ay tatagal lamang ng dalawang minuto at 18 segundo.
Ang video ay authenticated ni National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Cyber Investigation Senior Agent John Mark Calilung na personal na humarap sa paglilitis.
Samantala, hindi naman pinagbigyan ni impeachment trial presiding officer Francis ‘Chiz’ Escudero ang hiling ng depensa na panoorin ang buong video.
