Naniniwala si dating Senador Panfilo ‘Ping’ Lacson na may bakas ng pagiging “trained and smart foreign spy” ang sinibak na alkalde ng Bamban, Tarlac na si Alice Guo base sa madulas na pag-iwas nito sa mga tanong ng mga senador hinggil sa kanyang pagtakas sa bansa, at pagkakaugnay diumano sa ilegal na Philippine offshore gaming operations (POGO) sa ginanap na pagdinig nitong Lunes, Setyembre 9.
“The way Guo Hua Ping a.k.a Alice Guo was taking the senators for a ride during the hearing, she could be a trained and smart foreign spy who had already started to climb the ladder of the country’s political structure as an elected municipal mayor,” sabi ni Lacson sa isang statement.
“In the realm of possibilities, she could be a member of Congress who has access to highly classified information with national security implications,” giit ni Lacson, na nagsilbing hepe ng Philippine National Police (PNP) noong termino ni dating Pangulong Joseph Estrada bago nahalal na senador.
“Had PAOCC not exposed her illegal activities, what if, in the long term, she and her handlers, using money and/or influence, managed to get her appointed as DND secretary or National Security Adviser?” tanong ni Lacson.
Sa mga nakaraang pagdinig sa Senado, ilang ulit na pinabulaanan ni Alice Guo, na may Chinese name na “Guo Hua Ping,” na siya ay isang foreign spy dahil siya ay isang lehitimong Filipino citizen.
