Nangako ang pamahalaan ng Japan na kukuha ito ng karadagang Pinoy workers upang makatulong sa mga kritikal na sektor tulad ng elderly health care, ayon kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

“It creates an ideal environment for Japan to continue investing in the Philippines, not just in human resources but in Japanese-trained human resources, which will further promote economic cooperation between our countries,” ayon kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

Ang commitment mula sa Japanese lawmakers ay natanggap ni Romualdez matapos ang high-level discussion kasama sina National Diet of Japan Speaker Fukushiro Nukaga at Vice Speaker Banri Kaieda sa Tokyo Parliamentary nitong Martes, Hunyo 18.

Sa naturang papupulong, pinangahalagahan ni Kaieda ang malaking kontribusyon ng mga Pinoy workers sa kanilang lipunan.

“Japan is facing a decrease in population, and in this regard, Japan truly appreciates the Filipinos working here, especially elderly care workers,” giit ni Kaieda.
