Hinikayat ni Presidente Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang mga ahensiya ng pamahalaan na makibahagi sa 2024 National Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Summit ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
“In this regard, all departments, agencies and instrumentalities of the National Government, including government-owned or -controlled corporations, government financial institutions, state universities and colleges, and all local government units are encouraged to support the DICT in the conduct of the 2024 National ICT Summit,” sinabi ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
Sa Memorandum Circular No. 54 na nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Lucas P. Bersamin nang nakaraang Hunyo 7, 2024, nakasaad na ang DICT kasama ang pribadong sector ay magdaraos ng 2024 National ICT Summit mula Hunyo 18 hanggang 19 sa Crown Plaza Manila Galleria, Ortigas Center na may tema na “Digital Governance: Navigating the Future.”
Pinayagan din ni Marcos na dumalo ang mga executives, chief information officers, technical staff, academics, at iba pang pangunahing kawani sa Summit gamit ang official working time basta merong clearance ng kanilang mga supervisors.
Sinabi din ng Pangulo na dapat siguraduhin ng mga ahensiya magpapadala ng mga tauhan sa nasabing summit na walang maapektuhang agency operations sa pagdalo sa nasabing okasyon.
