Ipinatawag ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) nitong Huwebes, Mayo 2, ang Chinese Embassy of Manila Deputy Chief of Mission Zhou Zhiyong dahil sa insidente ng water cannon kamakailan sa Scarborough Shoal, na kilala rin bilang Bajo de Masinloc.
“The Philippine government protested the harassment, ramming, swarming, shadowing, blocking, use of water cannons, and other aggressive actions by the China Coast Guard and Chinese Maritime Militia against Philippine vessels,” sabi ni DFA spokesperson Teresita Daza.
“Demanded that Chinese vessels leave Bajo de Masinloc and its vicinity immediately,” sabi pa ng DFA.
