Sa bisa ng Comelec Resolution No. 10946, binuo ng polling body ang Committee on Kontra Bigay (CKB) kasabay ng paglulunsad ng “Kontra-Bigay Complaint Center” na tatanggap ng reklamo laban sa pamimili ng boto sa kaugay ng Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).
“During the 2022 elections, we received 1,226 reports of vote buying…The International Alliance of Election Watchdogs said that vote buying in the country is our biggest election flaw,” ani Comelec Chairman George Garcia.
“Ang going rate raw kada boto ay ₱100 hanggang ₱2,000, mababa yata,” ani Garcia.
Ayon pa sa opisyal, maaaring magreport nang confidential gamit ang exclusive communication channel ng ahensiya at maging ang official Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, at Twitter.
