Para kay House prosecution adviser-spokesperson former Surigao del Norte congressman Robert Ace Barbers, dahil sa pagpapalabas ng defense team ng video ni Atty. Zuleika Lopez, chief of staff ni Vice President Sara Duterte, sa kalagitnaan ng paglilitis sa grave threats, mas tumibay ang posisyon ng prosekusyon na kailangan at importante nga ng testimonya ni Lopez sa impeachment trial.
“With the presentation of the defense… doon sa video clips, it made Atty. Zuleika Lopez very important. Which means justifiable ‘yung paghingi o pag-subpoena ng prosecution kay Attorney Zuleika Lopez,” ani Barbers.
Ayon kay Barbers, kung maglalahad ng testimonya si Lopez, mabibigyang-linaw ang kaugnayan ng video nito na ipinalabas ng depensa nitong Miyerkules, Hulyo 8, sa nililitis na grave threats allegation laban kay VP Sara.
“’Yung kanyang testimony na pinakita doon sa video makes it more interesting for the prosecution to ask perhaps ang bagong sinubpoena na witness, kung ano ba ‘yung relevance nung video na ‘yun,” sabi ni Barbers.
Una nang hiniling ng prosekusyon sa Senate impeachment court na isyuhan ng subpoena si Lopez para humarap sa trial ni VP Sara.
Nagpunta sa Senado si Lopez umaga ngayong Huwebes, Hulyo 9, pero tumangging sagutin ang mga katanungan ng media tungkol sa pakay niya sa Upper Chamber.
