Inihayag ni National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Regional Director at dating NBI Cybercrime Division chief Atty. Jeremy Lotoc na nakakita ang ahensiya ng tatlong “material lines” sa isang press conference ni Vice President Sara Duterte noong Oktubre 18, 2024 bilang bahagi ng kanilang open-source investigation.
Ito ay bahagi ng analysis and attribution phase ng kanilang imbestigasyon upang aniya’y ma-establish ang “intent, motive, at capability” ni VP Sara na gawin ang pagbabantang pagpap@patay nito kina Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, at dating House Speaker Martin Romualdez noong Nobyermbre 2024.
“We continued the open-source investigation to determine if there were utterances made by Vice President in previous dates,” ani Lotoc.
