Pinasinungalingan ng kampo ni Vice President Sara Duterte ang mga ibinabatong alegasyon ni Ramil Madriaga, ang nagpakilalang “bagman” ng Bise Presidente, tungkol sa umano’y planong assassination kay Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
“His allegations of a secret term-sharing agreement, planned ouster, and assassination plots against PBBM are pure fiction, and not even remotely believable,” ani Atty. Salvador Paolo Panelo Jr., legal counsel ni Duterte.
Base sa kanyang tatlong pahinang handwritten letter na may petsang Abril 11, 2026, ibinunyag ni Madriaga ang umano’y pagpayag noong 2021 ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na maging running mate ang kaniyang anak na si Vice President Sara Duterte kay Pangulong Marcos Jr. “for a plan of retaking the presidency from BBM by year 2025.”
“In the event that BBM refused to honor the agreement and opted not to relinquish his post as president, extraordinary measures of overthrowing BBM should be considered like impeachment, assassin@tion by poisoning or any other means and by the use of People Power that will be triggered by FPRRD with participation of active and retired AFP and PNP officers,” mababasa pa sa salaysay ni Madriaga.
Samantala, tinugunan naman ni Panelo ang nakasaad sa ulat ni Madriaga: “If the need arises, we will be happy to refute each delusional claim point by point with evidence — something that has eluded all his allegations, past and present.”
