Inanunsiyo na ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin ngayong Biyernes, Mayo 23, ang unang batch ng balasahan sa Gabinete na inaprubahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., isang araw matapos ipag-utos ng huli sa lahat ng miyembro ng kanyang official family na magsumite ng courtesy resignation.
“I don’t know if he set the standards too high for himself… but to us now, because of the results of the elections, it’s time for [the] President to take him out there and bring another one who might make a better performance,” sabi ni Bersamin sa unang bugso ng balasahan sa Malacañang.
Kabilang sa mga itinalaga sa bagong puwesto ay ang mga sumusunod:
Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Enrique Manalo bilang bagong Permanent Representatives of the Philippines to the United Nations, kapalit ni Antonio Manuel Lagdameo na magreretiro sa Hulyo 31.
DFA Undersecretary Tess Lazaro uupo bilang bagong DFA secretary epektibo sa Hulyo 31.
Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Raphael Lotilla bilang bagong kalihim ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), kapalit ni Maria Antonio Yulo-Loyzaga.
DOE Undersecretary Sharon Garin, na dating congressman ng AAMBIS-Owa party-list, bilang officer-in-charge ng DOE.
Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jerry Acuzar ay papalitan sa puwesto ni DHSUD Undersecretary Engr. Jose Ramon Aliling.
DHSUD Secretary Aliling ay itinalaga bilang Presidential Adviser for Pasig River Development na may ranggong secretary.
