Kinondena ni Quezon 2nd District Rep. David “Jay-Jay” Suarez nitong Miyerkules, Marso 5, ang kumakalat na maling impormasyon na tinanggihan umano ng gobyerno ang umento sa daily allowance ng mga sundalo ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
“This is a budol, a big lie! These false claims deceive our soldiers and undermine their trust in the government. But the truth is clear—this increase is funded, secured, and guaranteed under the 2025 budget,” saad ni Suarez.
“We won’t let lies undermine our soldiers. The funding is secured, the commitment is strong, and they will get what they deserve,” aniya.
Binalikan naman ni Suarez ang pagtulak ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez sa pagdagdag ng pagtaas ng daily allowance ng mga sundalo mula P150 hanggang P350 o P10,500 kada buwan sa 2025 General Appropriations Act (GAA), matapos makipagusap kay President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
Ibinasura din ng AFP ang maling impormasyon tungkol sa kanilang daily allowance at kinumpirma na kasama sa 2025 GAA ang P350 umento sa kanilang daily allowance na kanilang ipapatupad.
