Personal na ininspeksiyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. nitong Miyerkules, Pebrero 21, ang Airport to New Clark City Access Road (ANAR) sa Mabalacat, Pampanga upang matiyak na sumusunod ang mga kontratista sa itinakdang completion date ng proyekto.
“I ask you in the BCDA to ensure the completion of the remaining works for this 20-kilometer highway,” sabi ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
“Once operational, it will reduce travel time between the Clark International Airport and New Clark City from one hour to 20 minutes. It will also save commuters’ money – as ANAR is toll free,” giit ni Marcos.
Naniniwala ang Punong Ehekutibo na kapag nakumpleto na ang proyekto, mababawasan ang oras ng biyahe sa 20 minuto mula sa dating isang oras. Aniya, ito ay magagamit ng mga motorista na walang toll fee na dapat bayaran.
Ang ANAR ay proyekto ng Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) na naglalayong palakasin ang ekonomiya ng mga lalawigan sa Central Luzon.
