Nauna nang pinigil ng Department of Budget of Management (DBM) ang paglalabas ng 2021 Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) ng mga guro sa bansa bunsod sa sinasabing “inconsistencies” sa dokumentong isinumite ng mga guro sa Department of Education (DepEd).
Nito lamang Abril hanggang Agosto 2023 naayos ng DepEd ang problema sa mga dokumento.
“The Department of Budget and Management has released a total of P11.6 billion for the FY (fiscal year) 2021 Performance-Based Bonus of 920,073 personnel in various public elementary and secondary schools that are under the Department of Education,” anang DBM sa pahayag nito kaugnay ng PBB.
Ayon sa DBM, nagbigay na ang 16 regional offices ng ahensiya ng Special Allotment Release Orders at Notice of Cash Allocations para sa 2021 PBB sa DepEd.
Bago ang anunsiyo, sinabi ng DBM na nailabas na ang ₱950,942,317, mula sa ₱11.6 bilyong budget para sa PBB, halaga ng bonus para sa kaguruan sa National Capital Region (NCR).
Samantala, pinipigilan pa rin ng DBM ang paglalabas ng 2021 PBB para naman sa non-teaching personnel sa NCR, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Eastern Visayas, Davao Region, Soccsksargen, at Caraga dahil sa problema sa mga papeles ng tatanggap.
“The documents were sent back due to varying concerns, such as duplicate entries, incorrect information on the months of service, and certain personnel not found in the DepEd’s Personnel Services Itemization and Plantilla of Personnel, among others,” paliwanag ng DBM.
Sa kabilang banda, nangako naman ang DBM na agad na pakakawalan ang perang nakalaan para sa PBB para sa non-teaching personnel, oras na maayos ang isyu sa mga dokumento.
