Epektibo ala-5 ng madaling araw ngayong Martes, Hunyo 30, ipinag-utos n ani Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. ang pagsasailalim sa full alert status ang National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), Police Regional Office 4 (Central Luzon), at PRO-4 (CALABARZON) bunsod ng isinasagawang kilos protesta ng mga miyembro ng Iglesia ni Cristo sa EDSA People Power Monument at Liwasang Bonifacio.
“The PNP likewise calls on all participants to keep the activity peaceful and orderly and encourages the public to cooperate with authorities and observe traffic advisories in areas affected by the assembly,” ayon kay Nartatez.
“All personnel have been directed to maintain full operational readiness and perform their duties in accordance with established operational procedures,” dagdag pa ni Nartatez.
Kabilang sa mga lugar kung saan pinaigting ang seguridad ng pulisya ay People Power Monument, EDSA Shrine, Senado, Mediola Bridge, Ayala Bridge, Liwasang Bonifacio at US Embassy sa Roxas Blvd. sa Maynila.
Naka-standy balert na rin ang mga Civil Disturbance Management teams, Reactionary Standby Support Forces (RSSF) at Quick Reaction Forces ng PNP upang tumugon sa mga emergency situations.
“Police personnel deployed on the ground have been instructed to exercise maximum tolerance, remain impartial, uphold human rights, and carry out their duties with professionalism and restraint,” giit ng PNP chief.
