Tuloy na si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa Brunei Darussalam at Singapore sa susunod na linggo para sa apat na araw na state visit at kanyang pagdalo sa International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Shangri-La Dialogue, ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs.
Magkakaroon ng bilateral meetings si Marcos sa Brunei Sultanate at makikipagpulong sa Filipino community sa Bandar Seri Begawan.
“The President will be traveling to Brunei on [the] 28th to 29th of May to undertake his first state visit to the Sultanate. While in Brunei, the President will be meeting with His Majesty, the Sultan, who is also Sultan Head of State of Brunei Darussalam,” pahayag ni DFA spokesperson Teresita Daza.
Samantala, si Marcos ang keynote speaker sa IISS Shangri-La Dialogue, na gaganapin sa Singapore sa Mayo 31.
Ang talumpati ng Pangulo ay markahan ang pagbubukas ng ika-21 na edisyon ng diyalogo, na siyang Asia’s premier defense summit.
