Pirmado na ni President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ngayong Lunes, Pebrero 26, at isa nang ganap na batas ang Tatak Pinoy Act, o Republic Act 11981, na principally sponsored at authored ni Senator Sonny Angara.
“We thank President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.… for supporting this measure. Tatak Pinoy will complement and help attain the goals set forth in the PH Development Plan. We also thank the leaders and members of the Senate for their support… and to the House of Representatives for adopting our bill and swiftly approving it as a priority measure,” ani Angara.
Magpapatupad ang batas ng mga targeted interventions para sa partikular na mga industriya at sektor na may potensiyal sa paglago.
Bubuo ng Tatak Pinoy Strategy, na magsisilbing roadmap para sa mga ahensiya ng gobyerno, local government units (LGUs), at pribadong sektor para maisakatuparan ang mga hangarin ng bagong batas na ito.
“This will be a very comprehensive program that will start from education where we will ensure our learners are equipped with the knowledge and skills they will need to cater to the requirements of employers; embracing innovation and technology transfer to allow businesses to come up with more sophisticated and higher value goods and services; and making strategic investments to address the gaps and strengthen the foundation of all industries and its workforce,” ani Angara.
