Sinabi ng management ng Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) ngayong Biyernes, Disyembre 15, na pinaghahandaan na nila ang posibleng pagdagsa ng 2.6 milyong pasahero sa holiday rush mula Disyembre 15 hanggang Enero 3.
“PITX has collaborated closely with transportation operators to provide increased availability of buses, shuttles, and other public transportation options during this peak period. This proactive approach aims to minimize passenger waiting times and ensure smooth travel experiences,” ayon sa statement ng PITX.
Ang lahat ng public utility vehicles (PUV) ay iinspeksiyunin at mas mahigpit na safety measures ay ipapatupad sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Land Transportation Office (LTO) at Philippine National Police (PNP).
“In light of the anticipated passenger volume, PITX encourages the use of other alternative forms of transportation, such as going to the terminal or online booking platforms through their preferred bus operator, to conveniently secure tickets and avoid long queues,” dagdag ng PITX.
