Sumakabilang buhay na si dating Undersecretary Tina Canda ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) sa edad 62.
Ang pagpanaw ni Canda noong Miyerkules, Agosto 23, ay kinumpirma ng DBM sa social media post nito.
Itinuturing na isa sa mga haligi ng kagawaran, ang pagpanaw ni Canda ay nataon sa kaniyang ika-41 anibersaryo sa serbisyo.
“It is with deep sadness and profound loss that we, in the Department of Budget and Management, mourn the passing of one of our agency’s towers of strength, former Budget Undersecretary Tina Rose Marie L. Canda,” pahayag ni DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman.
Sinimulan ni Canda ang kanyang serbisyo sa DBM bilang budget analyst hanggang siya ay naitalaga sa posisyon ng division chief bago tuluyang naging Undersecretary for Budget Preparation and Execution sa kasagsagan ng COVID 19 pandemic.
Si Canda ay itinalaga rin bilang acting secretary ng DBM noong termino ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
“An epitome of excellent public service, Usec. Tina will forever be in the hearts of every DBM employee in continuing the sound, effective, and efficient management and utilization of government resources,” pahayag ng ahensiya.
