Inihayag ni Batangas 1st District Rep. Leandro Leviste sa panayam sa kanya sa ANC nitong Martes, Enero 6, na isa si Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Sec. Vince Dizon sa mga “powerful people” na ayaw umano isapubliko ang listahan ni dating DPWH Usec. Maria Catalina Cabral.
“One is Secretary Dizon who remains in charge of the DPWH and has influence over any staff of DPWH who may be pressured to say certain things four months after the fact,” saad ni Leviste.
Ito ay matapos sabihin ni Leviste na mas maraming rason si Cabral na matakot sa mga “powerful people” na nagsasabing sapilitan umanong kinuha ng kongresista ang naturang files dahil ayaw nilang lumabas ang listahan na ito.
Nang tanungin naman si Leviste kung sino ang iba pang mga nasabing “powerful people,” sinabi niya na posibleng ito ang iba pang kausap ni Dizon na nagsasabi sa kanya na itangging in-authorize niya ang pagbibigay ng dokumento sa kongresista.
“The people that maybe are also on the phone with Secretary Dizon telling him to deny that he authorized to give me the files in September 4…even after I had previously said that the files were authorized by him to be given to me to release the files,” saad ni Leviste.
