Hinihiling ni Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon sa Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) na bawiin ang lisensiya ng 20 personnel ng DPWH na nahaharap sa kasong korapsyon sa Office of the Ombudsman kaugnay ng umano’y anomalya sa mga flood control project.
“The evidence that we presented [to the PRC] are the cases that we have filed and the COA (Commission on Audit) fraud audit reports and the DPWH’s internal fraud audit,” ayon kay Dizon.
Personal na iniabot noong Oktubre 3 ni Dizon kay PRC Chairperson Charito Zamora ang mga ebidensiyang magsisilbing basehan sa pagpapawalang-bisa ng lisensiya ng ilang engineer, accountant, at architect, kabilang ang tinatawag na “superstars” sa flood control scam na sina dating DPWH engineers Henry Alcantara, Brice Hernandez, at Jaypee Mendoza.
Ayon kay Zamora, aaksiyunan agad ng komisyon ang kahilingan ng DPWH dahil kumpleto umano ang mga isinumiteng ebidensiya.
Nilagdaan din ng DPWH at PRC ang isang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) para sa information exchange, referral of administrative complaints, at joint monitoring and coordination in investigation of violations.
