Ang “Deleter,” na pinagbibidahan ng actress-model na si Nadine Lustre, ay hinirang bilang Best Scare Award winner sa Grimmfest, isang film festival sa United Kingdom.
Ibinahagi nina Nadine Lustre at ang filmmaker ng ‘Deleter’ na si Mikhail Red ang tagumpay ng kanilang pelikula na nanalo sa festival sa kani-kanilang account sa X (dating Twitter).
“Always a hotly contested category as jurors debate what precisely constitutes a ‘scare’ and whether to select a traditional ‘jump scare’ or something more… intangible,” saad ng awarding body tungkol sa psychological thriller na pelikula.
“In the case of ‘DELETER,’ what impressed and stayed with the jury, rather than any one moment, was the eerie, unsettling mood and atmosphere of the film as a whole,” dagdag pa nila.
“DELETER wins Best Scare award at @grimmfest 2023,” mababasa sa post ni Mikhail.
Ang “Deleter,” ay pinagbibidahan din nina Louise Delos Reyes, McCoy de Leon, at Jeffrey Hidalgo.
Bukod sa panalo kamakailan ng pelikula, nakakuha rin ito ng pitong parangal sa 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) kabilang ang best actress, best picture, at best director honors.
