Alam ni dating Department of Budget and Management (DBM) secretary Amenah Pangandaman ang tinatawag na “leadership fund” sa 2025 budget ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)—pero hindi umano ito naipaalam kay President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., ayon kay dating DPWH secretary Manuel Bonoan.
Sa cross examination ni Atty. Lawrence Arroyo, abogado ni Senator Jinggoy Estrada, kay dating Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) secretary Manuel Bonoan, tinanong ang huli kung alam ni dating Department of Budget and Management (DBM) secretary Amenah Pangandaman ang tungkol sa “leadership fund.”
“I believe she was aware of it,” sagot ni Bonoan. “If I recall, the DBM chief is part of the core economic team and we discussed this with the economic team for the purpose of averting the continuous cutting down of the budget of the department.”
Nang tinanong ni Arroyo kung ipinaalam ni Bonoan kay President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang nasabing arrangement, sumagot ang dating DPWH Chief: “I don’t.”
