Pinagbigyan ng Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 30 ang petition for bail ni dating kongresista Arnolfo Teves Jr. kaugnay ng 2019 Pacito Libron murder case, kasama sina Richard Cuadra at Rolando Pinili.
Itinakda ng korte ang piyansang ₱500,000 para kay dating kongresista Arnolfo Teves Jr., habang ₱250,000 naman para kina Richard Cuadra at Rolando Pinili, habang nakatakda namang magpresenta ng ebidensiya ang prosekusyon sa Hunyo 23.
“After a careful evaluation of the testimonies of all the witnesses for both sides and a judicious scrutiny of the TSNs… the Court finds that the prosecution failed to show, establish and prove that the evidence of guilt is strong as to each accused,” saad sa desisyon ng korte.
Samantala, sinabi ng abogado ni Teves na si Atty. Ferdinand Topacio na hindi pa rin makalalaya ang dating kongresista dahil may isa pa itong nakabinbing kaso.
