Inihayag ni veteran journalist Karen Davila sa programang ‘Headstart’ ng ANC na mistulang nakalimutan na umano ang nabunyag na malawakang multi-bilyong pisong flood control scam sa mga flood control projects.
“You only have (former) Senator Bong Revilla that… is detained right now, you have the ICI really almost clearing (former) Speaker Martin Romualdez, Zaldy Co is still abroad, you do have DPWH personnel that are charged… nakalimutan na ang flood control,” pahayag ni Davila.
“After everything, after the expose, after the speech of the President, after the Senate Blue Ribbon committee hearings, frankly speaking the flood control scandal has been forgotten,” saad ni Davila sa kanyang panayam kay Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco nitong Miyerkules, Marso 25.
Samantala, pinuna ni Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro ang sinabing ito ni Davila, tinawag na “irresponsible” at maituturing umanong “fake news” para sa isang mamamahayag, dahil halos araw-araw na nagre-report ng update ang Department of Justice (DOJ), maging ang Office of the Ombudsman, tungkol sa kani-kanilang flood control probe.
