Ang beteranong broadcast journalist na si Jing Castañeda ang guest speaker sa commencement exercises ng Ateneo de Manila University High School Class of 2023 nitong Mayo 27, 2023.
Sa kanyang speech, binigyang-diin ni Jing kung paanong makakatulong ang teknolohiya, gaya ng usung-uso ngayong artificial intelligence (AI), sa pagpapagaan ng buhay ng tao at iwasang pagtuunan ang minsan ay nagiging negatibong epekto nito.
“AI and technology have the potential to deprive us of the things that make us human. Imagination and creativity set us apart from other creatures. Only humans have the capacity to dream and create,” bahagi ng speech ni Jing.
“As you walk your life’s path in and out of your digital world, it will be the well-traveled-roads shared with your loved ones that will always, always lead you back home. GPS can’t do that for you. Only your heart can,” dagdag niya.
