Nagsanib-puwersa ang anim na kontresista para batikusin si Davao City 1st District Rep. Paulo ‘Pulong’ Duterte matapos nitong sitahin diumano si PBA party-list Rep. Margarita ‘Migs’ Nograles sa isyu ng medical at burial assistance na ginagamit sa pamumulitika.
“If Rep. Duterte attended more sessions and engaged with his colleagues, he would see the transparency and rigor with which we operate. Rep. Nograles has done nothing but uphold the highest standards of integrity in her work,” sabi ni Davao Oriental Rep. Cheeno Almario.
“We, the Young Guns, stand united in our support for Rep. Migs Nograles. Her work in ensuring that the DSWD funds reach those most in need is beyond reproach. This unfounded criticism only serves to distract from the real issues at hand and undermines the efforts of those truly working for the welfare of our citizens,” sabi ni Ako Bicol party-list Rep. Raul Angelo Bongalon.
Ito ay bilang reaksiyon sa pasaring ni Rep. Paolo kay Rep. Migs na ginagamit diumano nito ang pondo sa medical at burial assistance na galing sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) para sa pansariling interes.
Kabilang sa mga miyembro ng tinaguriang “Young Guns” ng Kamara na dumpenesa kay Nograles hinggil sa naturang isyu ay sina Lanao del Sur Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong, 1-Rider party-list Rep. Ramon Rodrigo Gutierrez, La Union Rep. Paolo Ortega V, at Zambales Rep. Jefferson Khongun.
