Inilarawan ng Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) bilang “overkill” ang sunod-sunod na putok na pinakawalan ng mga tauhan ng Office of the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA) sa insidente ng pamamaril sa Senado noong Mayo 13.
“We presume that the CZ Scorpion Evo, its holder, and the 26 shots that came out of the gun came from Mao Aplasca… I can say that is overkill,” sabi ni PNP-CIDG Director Major General Robert Alexander Morico II.
Sa isang press briefing nitong Biyernes, Mayo 22, sinabi ni PNP-CIDG director Police Major General Robert Alexander Morico II na 39 mula sa 44 na recovered spent shells ay natukoy na nagmula sa tatlong baril na inisyu sa OSAA personnel.
Ayon kay Morico, pinaniniwalaang si suspended Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Chief Mao Aplasca ang may hawak ng 9mm CZ Scorpion Evo na nakapagpakawala umano ng 26 na bala sa naturang insidente.
