Hindi muna isasapubliko ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang magiging proseso sakaling maaresto si Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa kaugnay ng arrest warrant mula sa International Criminal Court (ICC).
“The procedure to be followed pertains to operational matters that cannot be publicly disclosed so as not to defeat the ultimate objective to bring him to the ICC and exact justice,” sabi ni DOJ Spokesperson Atty. Polo Martinez.
Ayon pa kay Martinez, itinuturing na ‘operational matter’ ang naturang proseso kaya hindi ito maaaring ibunyag sa publiko upang hindi maapektuhan ang operasyon at ang mismong layunin na maiharap si Sen. Bato sa ICC.
Matatandaang unang sinabi ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) at Philippine National Police (PNP) na dadalhin at itu-turnover sa DOJ ang senador sa oras na maaresto ito.
