Hinimok ni Bicol Saro Rep. Terry Ridon sina Vice President Sara Duterte at kanyang legal team na muling basahin ang desisyon at resolution ng Korte Suprema hinggil sa 2025 impeachment complaint laban sa Bise Presidente.
“They have to read both the SC decision and resolution again. The SC decision and resolution did not junk the 2025 Duterte impeachment on substantive grounds, but only on procedural matters,” saad ni Ridon.
Ito ay matapos isumite ni VP Sara ang kanyang formal reply sa House Committee on Justice tungkol sa dalawang impeachment complaints laban sa kanya nitong Lunes, Marso 16.
Nakalagay sa ‘Answer Ad Cautelam’ ni VP Sara na recycled umano ang “same accusations against the Vice President as those contained in the nullified Fourth Impeachment Complaint filed by the 19th House of Representatives.”
Iginiit ni Ridon na ibinasura ng Korte Suprema ang Articles of Impeachment laban sa Bise Presidente dahil sa isyu ng “procedural matters” at sinabing: “SC even said that their ruling did not absolve the Vice President.”
Sa hiwalay na pahayag nitong Lunes, Marso 16, sinabi rin ni Ridon na nabigo umanong sagutin ni VP Sara ang mga alegasyon sa dalawang impeachment complaints.
“It attempts to challenge the impeachment proceedings itself based on a confused interpretation of due process and the concept of ultimate facts in impeachment cases,” aniya.
