Hindi natiis ni Manila 6th District Rep. Bienvenido Abante Jr. ang pagpapatuloy ng pagdinig sa inihaing impeachment complaint sa Kamara ng grupo ni dating congresswoman Liza Maza laban kay Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na idineklarang “sufficient in form” ng Committee on Justice sa ginanap na botohan ngayong Lunes, Pebrero 2.
“And therefore in realizing that this actually an exercise of futility and a waste of peoples money, I there would like to walk from this hearing right now,” pahayag ni Abante.
“It is very clear that there is insufficient in form…very clear po ‘yan,” giit ni Abante bago tuluyang nilisan ang session hall ng Kamara.
Idineklara ng komite na sufficient in form ang Maza complaint sa botong 35 ang pabor, siyam ang kontra, at isa ang nag-abstain.
