Nagtangkang maghain ang ilang dating opisyal ng gobyerno ng impeachment complaint laban kay Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ngayong Huwebes, Enero 22, ngunit hindi umano ito tinanggap ng Office of the House Secretary General dahil kasalukuyang wala sa Pilipinas si House Secretary General Cheloy Garafil.
Tinangka rin umano ni dating kongresista Jacinto Paras na mag-iwan ng kopya ng kanilang impeachment complaint ngunit hindi rin umano ito tinanggap.
“The refusal of the Office of the Secretary General of the House of Representatives to accept the impeachment complaint is a clear violation of both the rules of the House and the 1987 Philippine Constitution,” saad ni dating kongresista Mike Defensor.
Kabilang sa mga complainant ng naturang impeachment complaint ay sina dating National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon Jr. at former Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson.
