Isa si former senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. sa mga pinakakasuhan ng Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) sa Ombudsman.
Kabilang sa inirekomenda ng komisyon ang paghahain ng kasong plunder, direct o indirect bribery, at corruption of public officials laban kay Revilla Jr. at iba pa, ayon kay ICI Chairman retired Justice Andres Reyes Jr.
Matatandaang sa ginanap na pagdinig ng Senate Blue Ribbon Committee tungkol sa flood control project scam noong Nobyembre 14, idinetalye ni dating Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) undersecretary Roberto Bernardo kung paano ginawa ang abutan diumano ng komisyon para kay Revilla Jr. mula sa pondo ng flood control projects.
“When Sen. Revilla asked me for the percentage for the commitment, I said 20% to 25%, to which Sen. Revilla said, 25%,” sabi ni Bernardo.
“Some time in the third quarter of 2024, Senator Revilla and I met where he asked me for a list of projects for funding ostensibly to help him in his national campaign,” dagdag niya.
Personal umanong naihatid ang nasa P125 million na kickback para kay Revilla noong 2024 kung saan isinilid ang pera sa anim na kahon na may lamang tig-P20 million at isang maliit na bag na may laman na P5 milyon.
