Sa ginanap na budget deliberations ng Senado para sa Presidential Communications Office (PCO) nitong Martes, Nobyembre 25, ipinarinig ni Sen. Robinhood Padilla ang isang voice recording.
“Meron po kasing lumabas na voice recording…sa totoo lamang po, sino ba ito?” tanong ni Padilla matapos iparinig sa Senado ang isang voice recording.
Aniya, ang naturang voice recording ay boses ng isang kilalang opisyal ng pamahalaan na may kausap diumano na ‘vloggers’ kung saan nagrereklamo ang naturang opisyal dahil “palpak” ang mga ‘vloggers.’
Sinabi naman ni Sen. Loren Legarda, ang budget sponsor ng PCO, na hindi niya makukumpirma kung totoo o hindi ang naturang recording at sinabing paimbestigahan na lamang ito sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) tulad ng suhestiyon ni Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
“I would not be in a position to ascertain the authenticity of the voice and I would recommend the suggestion of the Senate President to please give that tape recording to the NBI for authenticity. We leave it at that,” saad ni Legarda.
“I would not say it’s true, I would not say it’s AI, let the experts determine that,” dagdag niya.
