Naka-deploy na ang tracker teams na aaresto kay dating Ako Bicol Rep. Zaldy Co at 17 iba pa, na sangkot diumano sa katiwalian sa infrastructure projects sa bansa, ayon kay Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla sa panayam sa DZBB nitong Biyernes, Nobyembre 21.
“In anticipation of that, we’ve deployed tracker teams on all of them. As we speak, our teams are going to all those involved, all their homes, all their known addresses,” saad ni Remulla.
Matatandaang inanunsyo ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. nitong Biyernes, na inilabas na ang mga arrest warrant laban kay Co, ilang opisyal ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), at mga tauhan ng construction firm na Sunwest Corporation kaugnay ng umano’y maanomalyang mga proyekto sa Oriental Mindoro.
Samantala, sa isang statement nitong Biyernes, sinabi ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na nakikipag-ugnayan na ito sa Sandiganbayan para sa isasagawang mga pag-aresto.
Hindi pa kinukumpirma ng PNP kung natanggap na nila ang mga arrest warrant.
