Naglabas ng Certificate of Finality and Entry of Judgment ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) en banc nitong Martes, Setyembre 30, kung saan opisyal na nitong kinansela ang registration ng Duterte Youth party-list.
“The Commission En Banc iterated the decision of the Commission Second Division wherein it found that Duterte Youth Partylist’s registration is void ab initio for failure to comply with the publication and hearing requirements which are jurisdictional in nature,” saad ng Comelec.
Ayon sa naturang certificate, void ab initio o “void from the beginning” ang registration ng naturang party-list dahil sa pagkabigo nitong mag-comply sa publication at hearing requirements.
“With the issuance of Certificate of Finality and Entry of Judgment, the Order of the Commission En Banc as to the cancellation of party-list registration of DUTERTE YOUTH is now declared immediately executory,” dagdag nito.
