Ibinunyag ni House Infrastructure Committee co-chairperson Terry Ridon na ang P96 na milyong “ghost” flood control project sa Barangay Sipat, Plaridel sa Bulacan ay “insertion” lamang sa bicameral conference committee.
“P96-M Wawao Builders project inspected and deemed ghost project by DPWH Sec. Vince Dizon is a Congressional insertion in the bicameral conference committee. Not in the NEP. Not in the HGAB,” ayon kay Ridon.
Hindi umano kasama sa National Expenditure Program (NEP) at sa House General Appropriations Bill (HGAB) ang nasabing “ghost” project sa Bulacan.
Sa pagbisita ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) sa nasabing Bulacan flood control project, nadiskubreng hindi pa tapos ang construction nito kahit sinabi na ng kontratista na completed na ito noong Hunyo 2024 pa.
Ayon pa sa foreman, mga opisyal ng barangay, at mismong mga residente ng lugar, sinimulan lamang umano ng mga contractor ang construction sa proyekto tatlong linggo pa lang ang nakalipas.
