‘Personal decision umano ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang pagsibak kay Gen. Nicolas Torre III bilang hepe ng Philippine National Police (PNP), ayon kay Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sec. Jonvic Remulla sa press briefing noong Martes, Agosto 26.
“There is no sanction. The NAPOLCOM has not taken any sanctions as a body nor has it been discussed. This is a personal decision of the President. The order came from the President and not the NAPOLCOM,” saad ni Remulla.
Aniya, hindi nanggaling sa National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) ang kautusan na alisin sa puwesto si Torre.
