Kinumpirma ni Atty. Lorna Kapunan na isa siya sa mga volunteer lawyers ng House prosecution panel para sa impeachment trial laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.
Sa episode ng programang Facts First with Christian Esguerra nitong Biyernes, Hunyo 27, sinabi ni Atty. Lorna Kapunan na tila “strategy” umano ng kampo ng Vice President na “put forward” ang lahat ng “technicalities” at “legal objections” kahit na wala itong substance.
“We were several lawyers who helped because the arguments raised in the motion to dismiss were not substantive, they were all procedure and technical which seems to be… (the) strategy ng VP Sara Duterte to put forward lahat ng mga technicalities at saka legal obligations na wala namang substance,” saad ni Atty. Kapunan.
Nakapagtapos ang 73-anyos na abogado ng kanyang pre-law degree na Political Science at law degree sa University of the Philippines-Diliman at nakapasa sa Bar exam noong 1978.
