Ayon sa liham na ipinadala ni Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero sa Kamara de Representantes na may petsang Hunyo 10, 2025, hindi na itutuloy noong Miyerkules, Hunyo 11, ang pagbabasa sa Articles of Impeachment laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.
“With the issuance of the writ of summons to the Vice President, the putative presentation of the Articles of Impeachment which was scheduled for June 11, 2025 has been rendered moot and is thereby cancelled,” saad sa liham ni Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero.
“Rendered moot” o irrelevant na umano ang pagbabasa ng Articles of Impeachment dahil mayroon na umanong writ of summons ang Senate impeachment court para sa Vice President.
“You are hereby commanded to deliver to and leave with Vice President Sara Zimmerman Duterte, …Fail not, and make return of this writ of summons and order, with your proceedings thereon endorsed, not later than three (3) days from service,” saad sa writ of summons.
